Terms of use
The ground rules for using this site. Last edited 2 October 2026.
1. Who these terms are with
This website is published by TwoTwoSix Pty Ltd (ABN 42 608 482 506). By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What the site is
Holdfile publishes editorial articles about checked baggage, travel insurance wording and carrying valuables. It does not sell goods or services, take bookings, hold money or process payments. It is not an airline, an airport, an insurer, a bank or a claims service.
3. Information, not advice
The pages are general information and are not personal financial, legal or insurance advice. Airline conditions, insurance wording, regulations and prices change, and we cannot promise that every detail is current on the day you read it. Please confirm the details that matter with your airline, insurer or the seller. The sources are named on each page so that you can do that.
4. Advertising links
Some links go to an online seller, and we earn a commission if you buy after following one. Those links are labelled and open the seller’s own page. A purchase is a contract between you and the seller on the seller’s terms. We are not a party to it and we do not control the seller’s stock, prices or delivery.
5. Your rights under consumer law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that results from relying on a page without checking it against the source, or for the content, availability or conduct of any website we link to. We take care to keep pages accurate, and we correct mistakes when we learn of them.
7. Content and links
The text, design and images on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may quote short extracts with a link back to the page, but please do not copy whole pages. You may link to any page on this site.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows when. They are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
